DayJob Refugees is a long-running Americana rock band known for genre-spanning sets, rich vocal harmonies, and over 25 years of musical chemistry. Founded in Texas by guitarist and vocalist Brian, the band has shared stages with classic rock legends like REO Speedwagon, .38 Special, and Blue Öyster Cult. Brian’s love for vocal harmony was shaped early by his family’s barbershop roots and a steady diet of Crosby, Stills & Nash. His solo performances now incorporate live looping, real-time harmonies, and unique instruments like the harp guitar and the Amicus, offering a dynamic and layered acoustic experience. Based in the DFW area with roots in Illinois, Arizona, and Colorado, DayJob Refugees bring a seasoned, heartfelt sound to every stage—whether as a solo act, duo, or full band.
