Missing 3

"Missing 3" happened by accident - the band "Moving Colors", a 6-piece band was asked to play a venue and there was only enough room to put 3 members on stage, so there it began - "Missing 3" was born!

We are a casual/crowd engaging band that plays a wide variety of music - classic to current rock like John Mayer, Stevie Ray, Beatles, Ben Harper, Tears for fears to The Black Keys.

OUR TEAM

BILL BROOKS - LEAD VOCAL & GUITAR

Bill Brooks was born in Denton Texas and picked up the guitar at age 14 but never really had any interest in playing it until the age of 21. Bill had three sisters who played drums, keyboards and bass and it was this band that he first started his career. They called themselves the "Brooks" and performed for many years until Bill felt the need to change directions and left to join up with 2 local musicians who were singers/songwriters who played bass and guitar. Bill left the Brooks and with Robin & Chris Creasman formed the band "Backstreet". Backstreet was very successful in Dallas with 2 hit singles and on the show Star Search. In 1988 Bill left that band d formed the band "Moving Colors" and is still currently playing and performing in the D/FW area.

Bill's favorite bands and artists are Matt Wertz, John Mayer, U2, Dave Barnes, Journey, the late great Stevie Ray. In his spare time he loves to go camping, bicycling around White Rock Lake with his beautiful wife and take his dogs to the park.

Joey Salvia - Lead vocal, Bass, ACCOUSTIC GUITAR, & HARMONICA

Brooklyn born Joey Salvia is a songwriter/musician who is also known for his work in broadcast radio (ESPN, Fox News, Cumulus, Westwood One). Salvia has spent most of his life performing & recording professionally. He and Bill Brooks met at the Dallas Guitar Center not long after Joey moved to Texas. The two hit it off by actually jamming together in the store! Aside from working together in Missing 3, these seasoned musicians also perform side by side in Moving Colors & Brooklyn-Dallas... a  duo!

Joey's influences are Buddy Holley, The Beatles, Bob Dylan, and Steve Earle. His hobbies when he's not writing or recording are Lego building with his son Roman Coda, watching Downton Abbey with his beautiful wife Kaanji. Joey also enjoys traveling, film, inspirational books and lots of alone time.

Chaz Marie band

Chaz Marie band

Music has always been the thread that carried Chaz Marie through life—the one constant that never let go, even when everything else fell apart. Raised in churches across the DFW area as the daughter of a preacher, her free spirit often felt out of place. She never set out to be a singer, but music had other plans. After discovering a rare sibling harmony with her sister, she moved to Nashville at 19 to chase a dream.

After years of working full-time jobs and knocking on every label door, Chaz co-founded The Marie Sisters and signed with Universal/Republic Records (New York). The years that followed were filled with touring, recording, and sharing stages with legendary artists. Then, without warning, it ended. A single fax—“The magic is gone”—closed that chapter overnight.

The loss shattered her confidence, and for a time she disappeared from the spotlight. Still, music remained. Singing in small honky-tonks for little more than survival, Chaz slowly rediscovered her voice—and herself. One pivotal night, she walked onstage with nothing to prove and no mask to wear. That performance marked a turning point: she wasn’t a product—she was an artist.

Chaz formed a new band and met Quinten, her musical partner and anchor. From their first performance together, his guitar and her voice locked in effortlessly. Together, they’ve built something honest—no gimmicks, just soul, truth, and connection. Whether performing in backyards or on big stages, their goal remains the same: to make audiences feel seen, included, and moved.

Up ’Til Now

With over 20 years as a professional performer, Chaz Marie has headlined festivals, theaters, and private events across Texas and nationally. She has shared stages with Kenny Rogers, Wynonna Judd, Jo Dee Messina, Lonestar, Michael McDonald, The Temptations, and Cross Canadian Ragweed. As part of The Marie Sisters, she released the single “Real Bad Mood” (Billboard Hot Country Singles & Tracks) and contributed background vocals to LeAnn Rimes’ platinum album Sittin’ on Top of the World.

Her songwriting spans country, Americana, soul, blues, and rock, and she has collaborated with respected musicians and producers including Will Lee, Richard Marx, Guy Roche, and Shep Goodman & Kenny Gioia. Independent releases such as Take Me Away and Bestie reflect her artistic growth and continue to resonate with fans.

Beyond the stage, Chaz gives back—raising over $13,000 for Kerrville flood relief, mentoring teens through songwriting camps, and performing for children and families through Music Meets Medicine.
